“Tree of Gold” - is painted from a photograph I captured on my very first run of the day—a moment so pure and surreal it felt like skiing straight into a dream. The rising sun washed the entire slope in molten gold, turning the snow-laden trees into glowing sculptures. I remember stopping right there, breath visible in the crisp air, just taking it all in. The silence, the light, the cold on my cheeks—it was all part of that magic. This painting carries that exact feeling: the awe, the stillness, and that sense of being completely present in a moment that felt almost otherworldly.
