Walking With Giant Cedars
'“Walking With Giant Cedars” - is based on a photograph I took while hiking through an ancient cedar forest. Standing on that trail, surrounded by towering trunks and weaving branches, I felt incredibly small—in the best, most grounding way. The air was cool and rich with the scent of earth and moss, and the trees felt alive with age, wisdom and presence. The painting captures that moment of humility and awe: the vivid colours echo the vibrancy I felt inside, and the upward perspective mirrors how I stood there, looking toward the canopy, breathing in the stillness and the strength of those giants.
